Dennis Morris
Hello, my name is Dennis Morris, and I have had the privilege of serving as a cooperative governor for 35 years. My journey began when my son started school, and I took on the role of a parent governor. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to supporting the school community, contributing my insights and experience to help shape the educational environment for our students. It has been incredibly rewarding to see the school grow and succeed, and I am proud to have been a part of this journey.
In addition to my role as a governor, I have been self-employed for 49 years as a builder, with a background as a joiner by trade. Living close to the school has allowed me to maintain a strong connection with the students, staff, and parents. As a shared owner and director of Roosters, I have been able to demonstrate my entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to local business development. My expertise in construction and joinery has not only benefited my professional career but also the local community.
My involvement in the community extends beyond the school. I have been an active member of the Betley Show Committee for over 35 years, contributing to the organization and success of this local event. Additionally, I have played a significant role in the Bonfire community for 12 years, helping to organize and manage the annual bonfire celebrations. My dedication to these community activities showcases my passion for bringing people together and creating memorable experiences for everyone involved.
